The Odorkor Police has received a motorbike from Auto Plaza to aid their operations.

The motorbike, which was handed over to the divisional commander, ASP Samuel Alordey, is expected to help personnel of the Division fight crime and maintain law and order in the area.

At a brief ceremony to present the motorbike, the Managing Director of Auto Plaza, Jihad Hijazi said the donation forms part of the company’s social responsibility efforts.

He said he was hopeful that the motorbike would further improve on the operations of the police service.

The motorbike, he said, would not only make movement from the police station to the doorstep of the public easy, but also help the police service to fight and reduce the rate of crime in the country.

ASP Alordey said the gesture was timely.

“There are certain areas that a vehicle cannot go but with a motor bike you can go there and it will make fighting crime easy,” he noted.
