Ghana head coach Kwesi Appiah  joined his assistant Maxwell Konadu the handler of the home-based Black Stars in the Burkina Faso capital of Ouagadougou on Thursday evening, ahead of the side’s clash with the Local Stallions in the 2018 CHAN qualifier.

The team had left Ghana on Wednesday evening for Burkina Faso without Kwesi Appiah who, according to sources, was locked up in a meeting with the Sports Ministry and the leadership of the Ghana FA.

Hisarrival takes to 10; the number of technical staff with the team as nine members was already with the team.

The arrival of the head coach of the Black Starsis seen as a massive morale booster for the side ahead of the Titanic clash on Saturday.

Ghana will take on the Local Stallions of Burkina at the Stade du 4th August in the first leg of the Chan qualifier with the return leg scheduled to be played in Kumasi a week later.

The Black Stars B failed to make it to Rwanda in 2016 and are poised to slide past the Burkinabes to pick a ticket for the continent’s local tournament in Kenya next year.
