President Akufo-Addo has served notice he will not condone corruption in his government.

According to the President, all reports of corruption against officials of his government will be thoroughly investigated by the state security agencies.

“Let me assure you, every allegation of corruption against any member of my government will be investigated by the law enforcement agencies. Those who make the allegations should be prepared to support them with evidence.

“I will not supervise over a government that supports corruption. I have instructed the law enforcement agencies to investigate every allegation of corruption in my government,” he told delegates of the party at the congress currently ongoing in Cape Coast.

The President also warned that he will not allow any member of the party to capsize the party’s boat as it seeks to implement its policies in government.

“We have struggled and endured a lot to be here. So, I as president will not allow anyone to capsize our boat. I won’t allow it”.

Nana Akufo-Addo also gave the assurance that the party will salvage the national health insurance scheme.

The President also said he is confident Ghana will experience a bumper harvest as a result of the planting for food and jobs programme.
