The Editor-in-Chief of the Crusading Guide newspaper Abdul Malik Kweku Baako says the career of the deputy CID Boss is at a crossroads.

According to the seasoned Journalist, comments attributed to ACP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo Danquah in a leaked audio conversation with controversial musician A Plus over corruption at the Flagstaff House puts her in an awkward position.

The leaked audio conversation between the ACP Addo-Danquah and A Plus is the latest twist in the corruption allegations levelled against the two deputy Chiefs of Staff – Francis Asenso Boakye and Samuel Abu Jinapor – by A Plus.

A police statement which cleared the two government officials after investigations has been called into question following the leaked tape involving the top police officer and A-plus.

In the leaked audio, the top police official suggested that the Police report was cooked to exonerate the two deputy Chiefs of Staff.

ACP Addo-Danquah has said the tape is a deliberate attempt to tarnish her reputation dismissing it as doctored.

But speaking on Newsfile Saturday, Mr. Baako said the comments by ACP Addo-Danquah in the audio is a dent on her career.

“I feel sorry for the lady. For a woman to rise to that level Deputy CID boss is no joke. That shows her character, strength and willpower. I think her career is at the crossroads and it is so sad,” Mr. Baako said.

Mr. Baako also called for an independent probe to help finality to the corruption allegations against the government officials.
