Former Inter and AC Milan star Sulley Ali Muntari has had his Mercedes AMG G63 SUV seized at the Italy-Swiss border.

Muntari was reportedly stopped while driving through the border on Monday, according to Blick, a popular newspaper in Italy.

The midfielder, currently unattached is reported to have his vehicle seized because he had defaulted in the payment for the vehicle.

Reports indicate that upon reaching Chiasso Customs, the 33-year-old was stopped by the Italian Road Police and the Mercedes AMG G63 confiscated.

According to reports in Italy, Muntari, who last played for Pescara confirmed that he had defaulted in the payment of the vehicle and explained to officials that he was currently going through some difficulties.
