Robbers said to be numbering about seven have ransacked the residence of Ghana International midfielder Ebenezer Ofori in Accra Monday dawn.

The VfL Stuttgart player’s Range Rover with registration number GR- 2027-17 was taken away by the robbers as well as some valuable items from his residence at Haatso  worth over thousands of dollars.

The silky enforcer played full throttle for the Black Stars as they were held to a 1-1 stalemate by the Red Devils of Congo in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium last Friday.

According to the players’ manager, Alex Akummey, this ordeal has affected the footballer psychologically.

“The trauma is disturbing but since he is a professional player he will go ahead and play the game against Congo on Tuesday,” Akummey told Starr Sports.

The 22-year-old is expected to join  his colleagues in camp tonight as they jet off to Brazzaville ahead of Tuesday’s return encounter against Congo.
