Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure’s agent, Dimitry Seluk, has reportedly blasted boss Pep Guardiola for benching his client.

The outspoken representative was responding to recent claims that suggested that the manager had been denying the Ivorian valuable playing time since tactician believes that the veteran is struggling with fitness.

Toure is yet to feature in the match for the Cityzens this season, as the 34-year-old was an unused substitute in City’s Premier League fixtures against Brighton, Everton and Bournemouth, and was left out of the squad altogether in their recent 5-0 triumph over Liverpool.

Seluk has however wholeheartedly disagreed with Pep’s sentiments and claimed that the former Barcelona star is ‘in great shape’ and ‘fit to play’ but also conceded that the decision ultimately rests with Pep.
