Air France Saturday rewarded the winner of its #AirFrancetakemetolondon campaign with a return trip ticket to London.

The campaign which began Monday September 25, 2017 ended on Saturday September 30, 2017 with the winner declared at a grand finale at the offices of Air France.

Four persons participated in the grand finale, answering five questions each with Obibisa Oppong Ernest coming up on top.

He was presented with a dummy Air France London ticket to be used within a year.

“When I saw the campaign I rubbished it as a façade. Nonetheless my instinct pushed me to give it a short. And here I am declared the winner of it,” said Ernest after he was presented with the ticket.

According to him, he had plans to visit his girlfriend in the UK and with “this ticket I can save some money and use it for shopping.”

The reasoning behind the campaign dubbed: ‘Win a Free ticket to London to visit a loved one’ according to Catherine Acquah, the marketing coordinator of Air France Ghana was aimed at “boosting the route London.”

“Ghanaians we are fond of going to London. Almost everyone has a relative or wants to visit London. So that is why we chose London for this campaign,” she added.

She said the ticket is valid for a year and that the winner is at will to use it anytime provided it is within the period. She disclosed that similar campaign could be rolled out in the near future. “This went well. We just had a few hitches. We will sit and strategise and then come up possibly next year.”
