The President of Benin,Patrice Talon, has arrived in Ghana for a day’s state visit today, Wednesday, 11 October.
He was received on arrival by Ghana’s President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee Lounge of the Kotoka International Airport.
The two West African leaders are expected to address a joint press conference at the Presidency after bilateral talks later today.
President Akufo-Addo, in May 2017, visited Benin as part of his working tour to West African countries.
Sources at the presidency have hinted their meeting will also touch on the political situation in Togo.
