Public Relations Officer of the Sports Ministry, Elvis Adjei- Baah, has revealed that his outfit is yet to pay a $4000 each outstanding bonus due the Black Starlets team at the just ended U-17 World Cup in India.

According close sources within the Ministry, the said amount is to motivate these young guys despite losing to the USA, in one of  the group matches and an additional $1000 for beating Niger in the 1/16th stage of the competition.

However the technical team are expected to take home a paycheque, much higher than that received by the players, but it’s unclear exactly how much they negotiated for.

The accumulated bonuses could be paid by the close of the week directly into the playing bank accounts as processing started last Friday.

In the meantime the entire playing body have been dispatched to their various clubs from the M-Plaza hotel.
