Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan scored his first league goal in the Turkish league after coming  from the bench in the 73rd minute  to grab a late equalizer.

Gyan’s strike aided his side Kayserispor to hold giants Fenerbahçe S.K to a pulsating 3-3 draw on Monday evening.

Gyan’s goal followed up the superb strike in midweek that aided Kayserispor to secure a spot in the quarter-finals of Turkish Cup.

Kayserispor took the lead on 41 minutes courtesy of a neat strike by Bulut but Fenerbahçe S.K responded with three goals.

The Anatolian Stars pulled one back in the 68th minute before substitute Gyan scored to break Fenerbahçe hearts.

Gyan, who was brought on with 16 minutes remaining on the clock, rose above two Fenerbahçe defenders and headed the ball into the back of the net.

The draw keeps Kayserispor in the fourth position after 10 games.
