The Black Starlets of Ghana defeated their India counterparts by 4-0 to automatically qualify to the 16th stage of the ongoing U-17 World Cup in India.

Captain Eric Ayiah got a brace in the 43rd and 52nd minute all through a rebound  the 18-yard box with Richard Danso making it three in the 86th minute whiles Emmanuel Toku finished with the fourth goal  just three minutes  to end proceedings.

This made Ghana to top Group A with 6-points with a goal difference of four.

USA qualified despite losing 1-3 to Colombia, with Colombia also progressing to the next stage with six points and placing second.

Ghana now awaits any of the third placed countries in Group CDE come Wednesday at Dr. DY Patil Stadium in  Navi Mumbai.
