Ghana’ Black Starlets will take on Niger in the round of 16 at the FIFA U17 World Cup at Dr. DY Patil Stadium in  Navi Mumbai on Wednesday,October 18.

The Black Starlets set-up a clash with their West African counterparts after topping group A following an emphatic victory over host India.

Niger finished third in Group C but qualified as one of the third best placed teams.

The two sides will lock horns  in a repeat of the semi-finals of the Africa U-17 Championship which travelled to penalty shoot outs.

Ghana defeated Niger on penalties 4-2 on penalties at the Cup of Nations.

Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin and his boys are already in Mumbai for the epic clash on Wednesday.
