Nigeria are not among the top four seeds for  the 2018  CHAN in Morocco, according to a draw procedure announced by the CAF on Wednesday.

The draw ceremony takes place    in Rabat on Friday.

The top seeds are hosts Morocco, Angola,  Ivory Coast  and Libya.

Nigeria are in Pot 2 along with Cameroon, Guinea and Zambia.

ot 3 has Congo, Uganda, Rwanda and Sudan, while Pot 4 has Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, Mauritania and Namibia.

Nigeria placed third on their debut in 2014, but failed to go past the first round two years later in Rwanda.

The championship, which is reserved for players featuring in their domestic championships, will be played in four Moroccan cities.

It will be played between January 13 to February 4, 2018.
