Former Ghana international, Coach Yaw Preko have been replaced by Former Nigeria national Under-20 team coach, Ladan Bosso at league side IfeanyiUbah.

Bosso, who left  El-Kanemi  at the end of the season, takes over from Ghanaian  Yaw Preko, who was in charge of the Anambra Warriors last season. Preko led the club to a ninth place finish.

Bosso, a former Abia Warriors coach, was announced as the club’s coach on Saturday.

In a statement by spokesman for the Nnewi Premier League side Iyke Nwokedi, IfeanyiUbah  Chairman, Chukwuma Ubah, said Bosso was signed because of his experience in the league.

Ubah said, “Bosso is simply the best manager in the country; he has a huge experience with clubs and the national team. He will inspire the players, his track records in the league will take the club forward and we hope to win more titles with him.”

Bosso promised to do his best to ensure that the club perform well in the league next season.

“I am honoured to work here, to become IfeanyiUbah manager is a special honour for me. It is a privately-owned club with amazing structures. IfeanyiUbah are a respected club side in the NPFL and I’m happy to be here,” Bosso said.

“We have our target for the new season and we must work as a group to achieve our aims and objectives. I will do my best to ensure that the club returns to the top spot in the league.”
