President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is on a three-day tour of the Eastern region as part of his regional tour.

The tour provides an opportunity for the president to assess ongoing development projects as well as commission projects.

The tour begins from Akosombo before Nana Addo heads to Asesewa to address a durbar of chiefs and the people of Upper Manya Krobo.

On his second day, Nana Addo will head to Kwahu to pay a courtesy call on the Kwahumanhene and will also visit Akyem Afosu and inspect the site for a proposed technical college. He will also inspect completed works on the Nkawkaw- Atibie road in Kwahu, and a visit to the Youth Training Centre at Takorase in the Denkyembuor District.

President Akufo-Addo rounds off his tour on Friday, December 22, 2017. He will visit Agro-Tech Ghana, a poultry farm and Hatchery at Apedwa. He will also join a Children’s party at Kyebi and later inspect the abandoned affordable housing project in Koforidua.

He will end his tour of the region with a durbar of chiefs and the people of New Juaben at the Jackson Park in Koforidua. Akufo-Addo has already toured the nine other regions since assuming office on January 7, 2017.
