Ghana has been given the hosting right for the second edition of the North- West female tournament in Accra from January 19 to 21.
The three day championship will feature Nigeria, Sierra Leone, The Gambia and host Ghana at the Achimota Cricket Oval.
Ghana finished third in the last edition in 2015 which was staged in Gambia but Henry Ackom; Ghana’s team manager believes this time round with proper preparations team could win the trophy.
“We are working very hard to make the tournament host and win a reality. However with just eight days to go but we are trying to get the best from the players despite not camping them for a period,” Ackom told Starr sports.
