Everton finally appear to be on track to complete the signing of Theo Walcott after the Arsenal forward was pictured in a car with an Everton staff behind the wheels going to the club’s Finch Farm club house.

The England international spent the morning at Finch Farm reportedly undergoing a medical and finalising personal terms.

It is believed that Walcott is moving to Everton in a £20m deal that will see him end a near 12 year association with the Gunners.

The Blues were close to completing his move from the Emirates this evening but the remaining details of the deal were still to be ironed out.

Walcott will become Everton’s second signing of the January transfer window after the arrival of striker Cenk Tosun from Besiktas.

The England international’s signing would take the Blues’ spending past the £40m mark with Sam Allardyce also targeting a left-sided defender before the deadline.
