A young social entrepreneur and trained journalist, Auguster Asantewa Boateng, has been adjudged the “Most Outstanding Female Personality in Education” at the 4th Feminine Ghana Achievement Award held at the La Palm Royal beach hotel last Friday.

The feminine Ghana Achievement Awards has been established to identify, publicly recognize and reward women whose personal and professional conduct has been exemplary and outstanding.

Ultimately the award exists to create a pool of role models who serve to set new, higher standards of accomplished women in Ghana to aspire to emulate in terms of professional achievement.

Speaking immediately after receiving the award, Ms Boateng expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the organizers for appreciating her works towards achieving the SDGs.

“I am so happy and grateful to God and to the organizers and most especially to my team, family and well-wishers for having faith in me and honouring me with this award.

“This means a lot to me and this is clear that hard work is rewarding. This award is to every female, to that rural girl and that teen mother,” the founder of The Butterfly Effect, a registered nonprofit and human right advocacy initiative with the aim of using effective and sustainable strategies to promote and protect the right of the African child/youth by focusing on their health, education and empowerment.

Other women awarded on the night include; Madam Abiola Baruwah MD/CEO UBA Ghana, Basiwa Dowuona Hammond GH One TV, Mrs. Gifty Ama Fiagbe CEO Saham Insurance, Oheneyere Gifty Anti GDA Concepts amongst others.

The award is hosted and organized by The Business Executive magazine.
