Hundreds of Presec alumni (Odadees) converged at the school on Saturday March 3rd 2018 for the much anticipated Health Fair.

Invited schools like St Johns Grammar, Accra Girls and Labone Secondary were there to give morale support.

The event which was part of the school’s 80th Anniversary Celebrations, was to ingrain and inculcate an annual medical check up culture in the alumni fraternity and drive home the point that Good Health is an investment.

It was preceded by an early morning 15km Walk led by Rev Dr. Markwei Alumni President accompanied by brass band from the school through Madina, East Legon, Accra Mall and back.

On hand was a team of able alumni Doctors, Dentists, Nurses, Pharmacists, Lab Technicians and Nutritionists who offered free medical screening at the Alumni & Mentorship Center.

 

Tests conducted included Fasting Blood Sugar, Glycated Sugar (HbA1c), Blood Pressure, Risk Of Obesity (BMI), Oral Hygiene, Dietary & Nutritional Advisement and Exercise/ Lifestyle Coaching.

The 1986 Year Group, Odadee Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong and his Special Ice company and Kasapreko were notable sponsors of the event.
