The management of premier league side, Aduana Stars have refuted rumours of they (Aduana) sacking coach Yusif Abubakar ahead of their outstanding league games.

According to reports the experienced coach has been unable to unite the team and replicate the bond which led to their Premier League success last term.

This agenda to kick Abubakar out is as a result of their latest 2-1 defeat at Asante Kotoko but the spokesperson of the club Evans Oppong has rubbished these claims.

“These rumours are not true because we even have a three month contract with Coach Yussif Abubakar and currently preparing the team to clear all outstanding games in the elite league due to  our unavailability in the first round as a result of CAF assignments,” he told Starr Sports.

Yusif Abubakar joined the Fire Club in 2016 and helped them to clinch the Ghana Premier League title last season.
