Thomas Ashong Mustapha, the Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has vowed to edge out all the aspirants that might file for the regional youth organizer post.
Speaking ahead of the forthcoming Greater Accra Regional election of the NDC, Ashong who is also the Presiding member of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly and branch chairman of Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) expressed confidence that he would win the forthcoming regional youth election.
“I can tell you without fear of equivocation that the Youth election is for Ashong, I don’t have a major contender,” Ashong told Starrfmonline.com.
“I know of two youth organizers who are gunning to contest me. I know they are coming because I initially told them I was going to contest for the Regional Chairmanship, that’s why they are showing up. The clarion calls out there is that, Ashong must aspire higher after over twenty years as the Regional Youth Organizer,” he added.
