Prophet Lasisi

FOUNDER AND General Overseer of the Believers’ Home of Life (BHL) Incorporated, Prophet Michael Lasisi has urged Christians to praise and worship God with all their hearts, souls and might at all times.

He also encouraged Christians in Ghana and around the world not to depart from God in times of ‘hardship’ or in a bid to seek material well-being.

In a sermon during service at the St. John’s-based Church on Sunday, Prophet Lasisi stated that it was “only ungrateful people that depart” from God in times of trials.

“People wickedly depart from God; ungrateful people,” the man of God who is seeking to change the image of Christianity in Ghana from a religion that exploits its followers for a few men of God to one that empowers Christians spiritually and financially, said.

Reading scriptures from Psalms 18:1 through to 45 titled: ‘David’s Song of Victory’  the pastor said just as biblical King David praised and worshiped God with all his heart and soul, true Christians knew that at all times they have to praise and worship God for how far he has brought them.

Preaching the significance of worship and praise to God, he said, “You will have to have prophetic revelations about yourself before you can be able to sing praises well. To really be able to praise God, you will have to have prophetic revelations about how far he has brought you.”

According to him, “Anytime, we are praising God, we are praising him for the victories he has given us; maybe your own might not be like David, but he has given you victory.”

He described praise and worship as a form of spiritual and divine entertainment that pleases God and that which should not be taken for granted.

“When God is entertained, he takes notice of your desire. Praising God and dancing in the house of the Lord is spiritual entertainment with a divine purpose,” he added.
