Former Great Olympics Coach, Godwin Attram’s side, De Visser who were favourites to win the maiden edition of the BabyJet Promotions Under-16 tournament for football academies in Africa which is currently underway were painfully ousted by Cedar Stars at the Asamoah Gyan Soccer Complex in Accra on Thursday.
Attram De Visser had earlier beaten keen contenders Kasoa Cheetah FC by 2-1 which put them in a pole position to win the tournament but their hopes were dashed after a 1-2 lost to Inter Allies’ Cedar Stars in the last game of the day.
Despite failing to progress, De Visser’s Abdul Manarf was awarded the MVP in their first game against Cheetah FC but against Cedar, Cedar’s Emmanuel Agyemang was awarded the MVP
