Ghanaian rapper, Donzy, has called on Ghanaian musicians to express gratitude to the Menzgold boss, Nana Appiah Mensah, for making them realise their real status in the African music scene.

This follows the cold attitude Nigerians gave to Ghanaian musicians while they were performing on stage during the official launch of Menzgold in Nigeria.

“First we thought we were rocking shoulders with Davido and Wizkid, not knowing we haven’t gotten anywhere, this is the time we have to realize it,” he said on Zylofone FM.

The DC Empire front man also urged Ghanaians to speak well of their artists because “what you sell to people is what they will buy. If you insult Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and other musicians, how do you want the rest of the world to see them?,” he added.
