About 70 houses have collapsed at Atiwlame ,a community in the Affram Plains North district following a devastating flood that has hit the community.
The cause of the flood, according to NADMO officials, is as a result of the overflow of the Affram River due to the Bagre Dam Spillage and heavy downpours being recorded since last week.
Hundreds of residents have been displaced .
NADMO officials say the displaced residents have been temporarily sheltered in Churches and School.
Meanwhile, the Regional Director of NADMO ,Kwame Appiah Kodua is expected to lead a delegation to visit the community.
Last week, 35 communities were flooded in the Upper Manya Krobo District .
Many house have also collapsed displacing dozens of residents .
