A new radio station which promises to take the Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regions by storm has been launched at Ejura.

The station, Nagyei 90.3 fm, owned and led by Nick Danso Abeam is a subsidiary of Nick Broadcasting limited.

Ahead of the commencement of official programming, Nagyei has played about 4 months of test transmission to warm listeners and to give indications of what is yet to come.

80% of  the station’s  programming will be in local dialect Twi and 20% in English, the CEO Mr. Danso Abeam noted in an interview.

Henry lord who was  the political show host and the programs manager of Sunyani base metro FM  is the General manager and morning show host of Nagyei FM.

Nagyei FM transmits on 5 k transmitter and operate on 90.3 on the Frequency modulation band with its website and tune in intact.

The strategic position of the station and standard of equipment are set to  make it possible for it cover every part of the Ashanti and Brong  ahafo regions, and we also penetrate into all the three northern regions.
