Samsung Ghana has announced that it will soon start providing legal aid to customers in a bid to fight the sale of fake Samsung products on the market.
Management of the company said it has begun engaging government agencies on the matter.
CEO and President Samsung Electronics Africa Sung Yoon told Starr Business on Thursday that even though the potion of fake products on the market is low, efforts will be made to address it.
He said “if we are talking about fake products, the portion and the impact is very small. I don’t have the numbers as many of our partners don’t have any significant numbers that are the very small case”
“But those customers that have suffered from those fake, Samsung will help them to legally fight back to correct those fake products in this market”
So that is why we said we will more practically work with our customers who are or will be going to suffer from those fake products. We are going to help them”, he added.
