The 4th edition of the Local Content Conference and Exhibition for Ghana’s upstream oil and gas industry is to kickstart from November 20 to 23rd, 2019 in the capital town of the Western Region.
The three-day conference, an initiative of the upstream regulator, the Petroleum Commission, is under the theme “The role of indigenous companies in joint ventures in the upstream petroleum sector.”

According to the Petroleum Commission, the three day strategic event is in accordance with its mandate to promote local content and local participation in the upstream petroleum industry.
This year’s conference has in excess of over 50 speakers from various sectors of the economy including top business executives and stakeholders.
Already, airlines to and from Takoradi are fully booked while many of the hotels are also fully booked due to the conference.
