Deputy Energy Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Anta has called on Christians in the Karaga constituency to unite with other religions in the are to ensure its speedy development.

Dr. Anta who joined the Christians to celebrate this year’s Christmas festivities on Wednesday stressed that unity among the people will promote peace which is a catalyst for development.

Quoting from both the Bible and the Quran, the deputy minister who is also the parliamentary candidate for the ruling NPP in that constituency said, “whether Christians or Muslims or whatever ethnic groups we belong to, we are all one hence the need to unite to ensure peace”.

He re-echoed government’s commitment to developing every part of the country. According to him, aside from the what government will do to bring development to the Karaga constituency, he as an MP will push for accelerated development in the area.

The Deputy Energy Minister announced the construction of modern astroturf football park. “From next month, we will cut the sod for the construction of an astroturf park with related facilities to help unearth sporting talents in the area”, he disclosed

Since his election as parliamentary candidate, the deputy Energy minister has initiated numerous projects including street lighting and borehole projects in that area.
