Egypt international  has been named ’s Player of the Month for January.

Liverpool have had five league games during the month of January and managed to come out victorious in all of them. Beating the likes of Sheffield United, Tottenham, Manchester United, Wolves and West Ham.

Salah played all five of the games and made six direct goal contributions by scoring three goals and providing three assists.

These performances earned him the club’s Player of the Month award for the second time this season after receiving back in August.

“Thank you. I am happy to win this award and as I’ve said before many times, the important thing is to win the games and I think we did well that month, so hopefully we’ll keep [going] like that,” Salah told Liverpool’s official website.

“I scored a goal against Man United after two years, so that was my favourite moment.

“I think we had a good break and everyone is fresh and everyone is excited to go again, so hopefully we will be ready for the game,”he concluded.

Liverpool will hope to remain unbeaten in the  when they visit bottom-placed Norwich City next Saturday, February 15th in their first game back from the winter break.
