President Nana Akufo-Addo has sacked the deputy Communications Minister Vincent Sowah Odotei and has been replaced by the Deputy Health Minister Alexander Kom Abban.
A statement from the Communications Director at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, added that Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku, Dr. Bernard Okoe-Boye is the new Deputy Health Minister.
His appointment is, however, subject to Parliamentary vetting and approval.
Dr. Okoe-Boye is the current Board Chairman of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after his appointment in July 2018.
