Victory Bible Church International as part of its social obligation has distributed food items to community dwellers in the Awoshie and Anyaa environs in the Ablekuma North Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

Over five hundred (500) families thronged the Church premises to pick up portions of food items. Among the items shared were five kilogram bags of rice, one litre cooking oil and bread.

Supervising Pastor in charge of the distribution, Rev. Tony Anderson indicated that the gesture of the Church is aimed at supporting the efforts of the state in mitigating the impact of the lockdown announced by government as part of measures to stop the spread of the novel Coronavirus, Covid-19 in Ghana.

He added that the Church will restock its supplies and resume the service to the community after the Easter celebration. Church leaders Elder Reginald Sackey-Addo, Rev. Prince Adu-Darko, Elder Fred Frimpong, Rev. William Amon-NeeQuaye, and Pastor Eric Nhyiraba Boahen, were at the church premises assisting with the distribution of the items to people who came over for same.

Victory Bible Church International is a denominational church founded by Bishop Nii Apiakai Tackie-Yarboi in 1985 at Kokomlemle, a suburb in Greater Accra, Ghana. The Church exists to bring people to conversion in Christ Jesus and membership in His family, maturing them to express God in human form and equip them for their ministry in the Church and fulfill their God-given mission in the world in order to magnify God.
