The Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin has donated GHC100,000 to governments Covid-19 National Trust Fund to support contain the pandemic in the country.

Okyenhene also presented reliefs items worth millions of cedis to sub-chiefs in Akyem Abuakwa traditional area to be distributed to vulnerable and poor subjects in the communities.

The items include 400 bags of rice, 100 bags of beans, 17 bags of gari, 100 cartons of tuna, and 1000 boxes of tomato paste.

He also added quantities of 95 boxes of N95 nose Masks, 225 disposable hand gloves,600 tissue pieces of tissue papers, 140 Veronica buckets and bowls, 20 infrared thermometer guns, 750 pieces of liquid soaps, 100 waste bin containers and 100 hand washing tables.

Most of these items are to be distributed to Health facilities in the traditional area.

The Presentation was made by the Okyeman Executive council of Chiefs led by Dasebre Ayimandu Kantamanto, the Chief of Akyem – Kwabeng, who is the Gyasehene of Akyem Abuakwa Traditional area .
