A two-year-old boy has been burnt to death in a fire outbreak at Apremudo a community in the Effia Kwesimintsim Municipality.

It is unclear what caused the inferno Wednesday afternoon. Properties running into millions of cedis including vehicles were not spared in the ravaging fire that reportedly started from a fuel station nearby.

Hundreds of onlookers trooped to the scene despite the ban on the social gathering.

The uncle of the two-year-old boy Benjamin Crenstil told Empire News that at the time of the inferno all efforts were made to locate the whereabouts of their nephew but to no avail.

The remains of the little boy has been collected and deposited at a morgue.

Meanwhile, the Public Relations Officer at the Ghana National Fire Service, Divisional Fire Officer Emmanuel Bonney is unhappy at onlookers always trooping to accident scenes.
