COVID-19: 339 new cases recorded as national tally nears 13k

Ghana has recorded 339 new cases increasing the country’s tally to 12,929, according to the Ghana Health Service.

Out of that number, four persons infected with Covid-19 are in critical condition and are on ventilators while 14 others are critically ill.

Director of Public Health at the GHS, Dr Badu Sarkodie stated that this represents a positivity rate of 4.95 as 261,319 tests have been conducted.

4,468 people infected the virus have so far recovered while 66 have died.

The active cases are 8,395.
