The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Board Michael Okyere Baafi has defeated incumbent Mark Assibey Yeboah to clinch the New Juaben South seat.

The New Juaben South seat was hotly contested between the two in what many expected Okyere Baafi to safely win.

Okyere Baafo polled 372 votes while Assibey Yeboah who is also the Chairman of the Finance Committee of Parliament polled 200 votes.

In the Navrongo Central, incumbent Kofi Adda and Minister for Aviation has lost his seat to Tangoba Abayage.
