Eight more persons have died from COVID-19 in Ghana taking the country’s death toll to 223.
In its latest update, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) stated that 168 new cases have been confirmed increasing the national tally to 41, 572.
Active cases have also reduced significantly to 2,029 after 39, 320 patients were declared recovered and discharged.
Five persons are in critical condition with 18 others classified as severe.
