The flagbearer of the opposition NDC John Dramani Mahama has donated sixteen motorbikes and eight lenovo laptops to the party’s constituency offices in the Oti region.

All eight constituencies in the region received two each of the DVLA registered motorbikes and a laptop in support of the party’s work and activities towards the December 2020 polls.

Presenting the items on behalf of the flagbearer in Nkwanta Saturday, August 1, Regional Chairman of the party, Mr. Gyapong Kudjo tasked the constituency leadership to put the logistics to good use in ensuring an overwhelming victory for John Mahama and the NDC’s parliamentary candidates across the region.

He emphasized the need for the IT and Election Directorates to ensure that the laptops are used purposefully in delivering another mandate for the party.

He said, “the IT and Election Directors must use the laptops purposefully in delivering on their mandates since we are in a technological world but most importantly, there is the need to take good care of the logistics.”

He added that, “winning election 2020 is now a communal labour and so therefore, I urge the constituency leaderships to effectively work towards achieving a total victory.”

Early last week, constituencies in the Volta region also received a total of thirty-six motorbikes and eighteen laptops; an initiative by the flagbearer in support of the NDC’s door-to-door campaign.
