The Electoral Commission has established complaints centre for the December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

The commission in a statement Thursday said the centre is to take care of voters’ concerns on election day.

“The Electoral Commission of Ghana wishes to inform the General Public that ahead of the General Election next week, it has established a Call Centre to enable Voters relay their concerns and feedback to the Commission on the Election Day. The Call Centre will be managed by trained staff of the Commission.

“The objective of this initiative is to provide prompt responses to Voters so as to improve the voting experiences on Election Day. A Toll-Free number 0800-100-100 has been secured for this purpose. As such callers will not be charged for calls made to the Toll Free Number. The Call Center will be in operation on Monday the 7th of December 2020 from 6am to 6pm,” the commission said.

Ghana goes to the polls on December 7 to elect a President and 275 Parliamentarians. The Presidential contest is deemed a straight battle between incumbent Nana Akufo-Addo and former President John Mahama.
