The Akpafu and Lolobi Traditional Areas, formerly part of the Volta region, have jointly petitioned the Electoral Commission over their exclusion in the parliamentary poll on December 7.
The two traditional authorities in a letter to the EC are requesting for clarity on their voting rights under the 1992 Ghana constitution.
They also accused the EC of deliberately disenfranchising them in the poll.
The EC excluded residents of the area from the parliamentary saying there plans underway to create a new constituency of their geographical location. They, however, voted in the Presidential polls.
