The Eastern Media for Development, an association of media personnel in the Eastern region, has congratulated former Member of Parliament for Mpraeso Constituency Seth Kwame Acheampong on his nomination as the Regional Minister-designate.
The group also appealed to President Akufo-Addo to reappoint someone from the Kwahu area as a cabinet Minister.
Launching the Eastern Media for Development at Nkawkaw, a team of media personalities from different areas in the Region moreover named nine (9) MMDCEs they want the president to consider maintaining for their hard work and interest in developing the area.

7. Magret Darko Darkwah- Suhum Municipal
8. Seth Oduro Boadu- West Akim Municipal and
9. Lawyer Yaw Owusu Addo- Kwahu West Municipal
Addressing colleague journalists, PRO for the group Dorothy Agyeiwaa Abankwah used the opportunity to appeal to the road minister And MP for Atiwa West Constituency to continue road projects in the Eastern Region adding that, the region is known as one of the poorest areas with bad roads after congratulating him on his reappointment.
