The Ghana Premier League will resume this weekend after the 16 teams were given a break last weekend to accommodate the outstanding fixture between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak.

Inter Allies and Ashanti Gold will commence the match-day 17 of the top-flight, battling for all three points at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.

Elsewhere in the Central Region, Elmina Sharks will lock horns with sixth-placed Kotoko at the Nduom Sports Stadium, looking to end a three-game losing streak.

League leaders Karela United will play host to Aduana Stars at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on March 6, after losing to WAFA in their last league game.

Liberty Professionals will make a trip to the Techiman Ohene Ameyaw Park where they will play King Faisal while Techiman Eleven Wonders will engage in-form Legon Cities on Sunday at the same venue as the Faisal – Liberty fixture.

The Nana Gyeabour Park will witness the cracking game between Bechem United and Ebusua Dwarfs with just one point separating the two teams.

Vladislav Viric’s Dreams FC team will be looking out for the loopholes in the Accra Great Olympics team when they host them at the Theatre of Dreams.

Berekum Chelsea will also welcome Medeam Sporting Club to the Berekum Sports Stadium.

In what promises to be the cracker of the weekend, all eyes will be on coach Samuel Boadu as he takes charge of his first game as Hearts of Oak boss against WAFA at the Accra Sports Stadium.
