Spokesperson for Arsenal’s Thomas Teye Partey has revealed to Starr FM the player’s exclusion from the Black Stars is due to health related issues but not that he’s been sacked by Coach CK Akunnor.

Reports were rife in the media that the Arsenal midfielder had been sacked from camp ahead of their upcoming friendly against Morocco after he arrived late to the team’s camping base in cape coast. But speaking to Starr Sports, Samuel Ziga insist all those reports are false since the player went to camp to seek permission from the coach and management since he’s not well.
“It’s never true Thomas Partey has been sacked from camp by Coach CK Akunnor,
he only went there to seek permission to be excused on health ground’s because he even came to Ghana with a physio” Ziga concluded.
