The Chief Executive Officer for Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has revealed that he can never work for their sworn-rivals Hearts of Oak after his tenure at the Porcupine Warriors comes to an end.
The former GFA Presidential hopeful in an exclusive interview with Starr FM disclosed that it will be impossible for him to ever cross-carpet to join the year 2000 CAF Champions League winners in any capacity.
It’s been widely reported that the 38-year-old football administrator was an ardent fan of Hearts of Oak before accepting the Chief Executive Officer role at Asante Kotoko. He has however debunked that assertion and further stated that he can never work for the reigning champions of the Ghana Premier League.
“After delivering my mandate at Asante Kotoko, if Great Olympics comes for my services I’ll surely do a professional job there but I’ll never go to Hearts of Oak” Amponsah told Nana Aba Anamoah on StarrChat.
“It is impossible to work for Kotoko’s rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak, I don’t think it will ever happen” he concluded.
Nana Yaw Amponsah took over as the CEO for the porcupine Warriors about a year ago and led the team to a runner up spot in the Ghana Premier League last season.
