The family of late social media activist Ibrahim Mohammed alias Kaaka has rubbished portions of the Ejura Committee report claiming it sought to please the appointing authority rather than seeking the truth.

Speaking at a press conference, the family denied portions of the report which suggests Kaaka was probably killed because of a family feud.

According to the spokesperson of the family, Rafiu Mohammed, the assertion is not only false but an embarrassment to the family without regard to their grief.

He said “the statement by the committee that Kaaka was probably killed because of a family feud is false, careless. Even though they knew that they had no basis, evidence, or authority for that statement, they made it anyway.”

“Perhaps because why bother about the truth and justice for a poor family in EJura when you coil to the bidding of those who have the power to guarantee your political appointment.”

He added “so we are saddened as to why persons of their caliber are so willing to forsake their own credibility just to do a hanch job in expectation for political favor. We leave them to the judgment of their conscience.”
