President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Okraku has revealed there will be no entry to Ghana Premier league match centers without Covid-19 vaccination proof.

According to him, all persons, including players, GFA staff and football fans should be vaccinated ahead of the season. At the 27th Ordinary Congress, he emphasized his outfit’s continuous engagement with Government to increase attendance at match venues.

“The FA continues to engage Government to get more fans into the stadia more than the 25% in the just ended football season. Meaning GPL will still have 25% until government official communique. All persons must vaccinated to get access to the stadia”.

Eventual 2020-21 Ghana Premier League champions, Hearts of Oak had their first game of last season against Ashanti Gold SC postponed due Covid-19 related issues.  This is a measure taken by the Association to ensure this does not repeat itself.
