The UEFA Nations League continues today with a mouthwatering, heavyweight semi-final battle between two of Europe’s powerhouse footballing nations, Belgium and France at the Allianz stadium, Turin.

After both suffered disappointing respective ends to Euro 2020, FIFA’s top-ranked Belgium and 4th ranked France will have their eyes firmly set on the prize here, as the ‘Red Devils’ look to avenge their 2018 World Cup semi-final loss to France in their last meeting.

Since Belgium’s loss to champions Italy at the Euro’s, they have reasserted their fantastic form by winning all three of their World Cup Qualifying matches whilst taking a real stranglehold on Group E.

However, Didier Deschamps’ men have overseen two draws and a win in their three World Cup qualifying games, as their big tournament hangover continues.

Belgium will be without Napoli’s Dries Mertens and Liverpool’s Origi but Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku who has four goal contributions in his last two internationals for Belgium (Three goals and an assist) will be poised to fire to put his side in the grand finale.

France on the other end has again left out Olivier Giroud while N’Golo Kante is sidelined for next week’s UEFA Nations League finals in Italy.
