Six passengers have been burnt to death in another accident on the Akumadan road in the Ashanti region Tuesday morning.
Several other passengers are critically injured and have been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Akumadan District Police Commander DSP Gyasi Agyemang who confirmed the accident to Agoo FM added that the death toll is likely to rise due to the gory nature of the accident.
Reports indicate that the bus was travelling to Lawra in the Upper West region and upon reaching Akumadan, the driver of the passenger veered off the road and rammed into a parked Rhino Truck.
The Bus reportedly somersaulted and caught fire in a nearby bush killing six people instantly. DSP Gyasi Agyemang added that the six people were burnt beyond recognition.
DSP Gyasi Agyemang also added that the driver of the passenger Bus who survived the accident is nowhere to be found.
