Xavi Hernandez will become Barcelona new manager after the Spanish giant reached an agreement with Al Saad over his release clause.

He will succeed Ronald Koeman, who was fired last week following Barcelona’s humiliating loss to Rayo Vallecano, which put the Catalan giants in a miserable ninth position in the league.

An Official statement has been released by Al-Sadd and;

“The Al-Sadd administration has agreed on Xavi’s move to Barcelona after the payment of the release clause stipulated in the contract. We’ve agreed on cooperation with Barcelona in the future”.

Legendary Xavi managed 94 matches in charge of Al Sadd, with 64 wins, 14 draws and 16 defeats winning seven trophies in the process.
